I have to agree it wasn't good - thought Rose seemed entirely untouched by much of what was around her (I wanted to see more hysteria and desperation), there was far too much obvious expisition (we as an audience weren't allowed to figure stuff out ourselves) and Sean Bean's role in the movie...

It's hard to make a horror film that can still surprise and scare people, and I thought this did a very good job. The film's cut-off setting made things quite atmospheric and unnerving. The vampires had a different look to them than I was used to seeing, making them really terrifying.
