I guess Doremi is a rare case.

I prefer dubbed anime to subbed anyway so any anime that airs on TV is fine with me even if it's heavily edited, mainly because if I really like it I will end up owning it and I will see it unedited anyway. I just want to see more and more dubbed anime on TV in the future....

I'm listening to Esoteric's "The Pernicious Enigma" right now and although its not really the type of (double) album that can be taken on a song by song basis, the oppressive atmosphere lenRAB itself to a very "intense" listening experience.

Anyone heard these guys? Pretty amazing stuff...listen to 'Cooker' first and witness aggressive music at it's best.

Agreed on Leviathan. I don't understand why Mastodon catches flak from the metal crowd... maybe it's the non-metal influences that piss them off? Either way, I quite like them. Some people say Dailor overplays and that Mastodon songs are just drum solos, but I think it's part of their sound...

I've been a fan since Leviathan came out. Their new album is ****in' awesome. Why compare them to Metallica? They stomp Metallica these days anyway.

Faraquet was my re-introduction to the label after I had been away from it for a while. I first heard their split w/ Akarso and fell in love. Then their "The View From This Tower" came out on Dischord. Great stuff and actually they are a big reason why I posted this thread in the Rock & Metal...

Yeah Iron Maiden are amazing- I'm a huge fan, but I love Metallica too. Maiden are definitely better live though and haven't sold out like Metallica. I'd say Maiden are the better band, but Metallica rule too- it's such a hard decision.:)
