Studying for my year 12 economics exam and I am touching up on Monetary Policy and the use of Exchange Settlement Accounts. Just not too sure how a Central Bank differs from a Financial Intermediary. Is a central bank like the RBA and an FI more like the commonwealth/ANZ etc?
