It was meant to be an over-exaggeration, as in, they must think a lot of people would want this in order to go through the trouble of making them. But yeah, at times they do seem like the masses, at least to me they do. On certain subjects I can be quite the pessimist though.

This band is brilliant! Seen them live here in Scotland last month with Aiden and they were one of the the best banRAB i've seen. The Sleeping are awesome too!

Well done for understanding what "rip-off" means! Firstly, I never said they were similar to Nirvana. I said they had a small nuraber of songs that ALMOST sound as if they could have been lost Cobain tracks. As for them being a Nirvana rip-off, not that I thought I'd ever have to EXPLAIN...

Alissa White-Glutz of The Agonist has A LOT of potential to clirab up and maybe even transcend what Angela Gossow has done for women and extreme metal. Dominique Persi of the avant-garde band Stolen Babies has some incredible vocals as well, plus she plays the accordion!

Haha, its nice to hear someone else doesn't see the big deal with these guys. Everyone I know is obsessed. You hit the nail on the head there, the songs are good but they lack some other important things.

no way. Kyuss were a good band in their day. they released some good, at times brilliant desert stoner rock. blues for the red sun is a classic - im not questioning that. QOTSA however have released three albums that better it and one that is still a high class album. i see no debate here...

Maybe it just didn't do anything for me, but I think that the new opening kind of sucks. At least, I don't like it as much as I enjoyed Blue Bird or Distance or Heroes Come Back.

Back then it wasn't uncommon for a band to spend 5 or 6 years touring before they got a record deal.

truly..... the f-ups are definately not underground. i think you stop being an underground band when you play at warped tour and 50% of the people there are wearing shirts that say "im a F-UP"

As much as I dislike the endless sub-sub genres there are many banRAB that I dislike but generally there isn't one area of metal I particulary dislike. I am not keen on some Black Metal but in certain cases I can listen. There is a lot of crap in Grindcore but there is also some damn good stuff too.

I only happen to know certain things about him due to the English school I attended. The forms were named after various noteworthy Brits. Nelson, Fleming, Livingstone, Wren etc. Elgar was amongst them too and the school insisted we researched as much about these individuals as was possible...
