And this vitriol is what happens when you put your nostalgia goggles on too tightly. A bunch of junk gets squeezes out of your brain, seeps into your computer keyboard, and winds up on the Internet.

As someone who absolutely detests fart jokes, seeing the "roles reversed" or whatever is... still disgusting and not funny. I laughed at some of it, but it was a huge let down after last week's.

The first HD episode..meh. First, the episode looked like Flash most of the time. Second, they unsurprisingly breaks conunity.....again. And Third, the plot is so tired that I purposely turned it to something else. Just a couple more boring episodes like this, and I'm gone.

I, for one, don't think The Simpsons is better than everything else on TV. Or even most, really. Maybe, once upon a time, it did shine amongst the rest of animation on television, but... right now, I don't think the show is really the gem it used to be. As someone else said, I think Futurama...
