    Donnie Yen is great

I watched Ip Man again last night followed by the sequel. I have to say that 2 isn't a patch on the first. The fighting is still excellent, although too much wire action in the table scene but the overall story is nowhere near as interesting. It seemed like just another kung-fu movie whereas...

    Is {Rec} any good?

I just finished wacthing this and I'm very shaken, I had to pause it a few times to clam myself. It was , hanRAB down, the greatest scary movie I've seen. It kept you guessing the whole time and unlike most scary movies this film didn't seem to have any survivors (I could be worng it was a...

    The film Creep

Sorry for that - hardly a constructive answer, but there you go. I found the end inconclusive, unfullfilling and a bit of a cop out. Either kill off your main character as per Leon, or let them survive. Sending them back and using the Dallas Dream trick is just poor.

    Tomb Raider III Is Coming!

I stand corrected. Although the law of diminishing returns had definitely set in for the sequel. I suppose if they slash the budget to the bone a third outing would be a viable proposition.

GEORGE CLOONEY IS... "The Same Character He Played Before..."

No probs! And I think he's great when sending himself up. Takes someone really comfortable in his own skin to do that (and what a skin ... :o) The only other actor who springs to mind who does that as well is Johnny Depp. Cary Grant was always one of my favourite actors, and George is right...

    The English Patient

It was absolutley beautiful. It was the first time I saw it last night, after scores of people had told me that I would love it, I was not disappointed. I felt a tremendous empathy for each of the main characters as the acting was truly amazing!

    Popular Films You Don't Like

I loved Tolkien books but found it really difficult to get in to the films and tbh I didn't really give them a chance (Films never as good as the books and all that..) When I did actually sit down and watch them, I loved them and have turned in to a LOTR geek :o I didn't like the Harry...

Pieces Of April - 1/5 (I don't understand what all the fuss was about) Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire - 4/5 (nicely done and more enjoyable than the previous 3) Saw 2 - 3/5 (fine but nowhere near as good as the original) D.E.B.S. - 2/5 (great soundtrack and few funny lines but a missed...
