Agreed on both counts. The US ones are far funnier and Greg Giraldo (RIP) was pretty damned good on them. I usually highly rate Jimmy Carr but this roast was the poorest one so far. Most of them were very very unfunny, with more embarrassed laughter from the audience than genuine laughter.

I know this would never have happened, but wouldn't it have been great if the news of the 15 second clip hadn't leaked. People in the cinema would actually have lept out of their seats in amazement! I certainly would:eek: Then they could justify having a 15 second teaser....

yeah actually when I wrote that - that occurred to me - in that sense it is good to see it in the cinema - but I don't think it's must see at the cinema film ( a la matrix or dark knight kind of thing) because a lot of it seemed so false - i found it hard to get my head round that scene - it...

I like them. Not everyone gets Addison's style of humour. He did "Lab Rats", which had a woman scientist who had invented rice (with a process which involved some spaghetti and a pair of scissors). I thought that was brilliant: that she was creative enough to come up with a new kind of food...

lol, the compression technique is already in the tips and tricks section anyway. I never burn all at once, i spread them out like you. Should have made that clear. When i reach 1gb free space, i burn just one dvdr (so i get 4.36GB space) and then just do the same when i hit 1gb again
