How The West Was Won - 'Smilebox' presentation.

Anyone out there picked this up on Blu Ray? The second disc contains the movie in a 'Smilebox' presentation. The film was made in Cinerama, which used 3 cameras to film shots, and the three images were 'blended' together on a huge wraparound, curved cinema screen...though you could see the...

Thanks. I very rarely give up on films! I might try again now that I know it will make sense in the end!

    Anyone regret getting a Blu-Ray?

The guy who wrote the Guardian piece is obviously entitled to his opinion, but I do trust that nobody takes what he's saying as being factually correct.

Why do we get X Factor headlines...

...in the movies forum? Nothing against XF but it already has its own board. Is it that hard for RAB to change it so that we can get film-related news headlines instead?

Phantom Of The Opera Dvd Fault

I like the masquearde scene- but also like the ending-amazing love the song-"past the point of no return" so excellent. The graveyard is such a bore, the swordfight how sad.

    Best Ever Trailer

Second vote for Phantom from me. That trailer was a defining moment in my cinema-going adult life - pure geek-out perfection on celluloid. Which, of course, made the crushing disappointment of the actual movie all the more intense. I still have some, issues to work out with George Lucas.
