The answer to the original question is rather simple: on most sites, pruning is done automatically by a script, without the intervention of staff. It's nothing personal, there is simply no code in place on most sites to distinguish between donors and other members when it comes to pruning...

Based on first impressions, I thought I would dislike it but I'm so glad I tuned in as I really enjoyed it. I hope it's done well in the ratings - hoping it's got 5 or 6 million viewers. I can realistically see it getting 5 million viewers.

Well '67 does run into '68 story and music wise, example Otis died in '67 and his last hit, Dock Of The Bay written in '67, was released posthumously in '68.
