^ Only two tracks in and already I get the feeling that this is pretty damn awesome stuff. It's another album I practically forgot I had 'til about 5 minutes ago too. Very good darkwave stuff - good to freak out to.

Because like any other mainstream band today, people look for ways of saying there not deserving of it, unoriginal, and copycats. This is not defending all mainstream music, because theres a lot of BullSh1t out there, but a good deal of it is labeled before it is even heard.

I think they have used their talent well, still making money in 2008. As for your comment on 'prog fans'... I think progressive rock is pretty improtant. ...and I'd have a hard on if I had a ****.

I think it's my second favorite (at the moment) off the album. I think my favorite song off it is Let's Get Lost though. I've recently gotten more into electronic music and I think my taste in rap is finally more definitive. So I'd say so, there isn't going to be much metal or anything though...

Although it is a bit overrated, you can't really deny the importance of REM - Murmur in bringing attention to alternative music. Also, Achtung Baby is a pretty important album musically and culturally, and even though I don't particularly like it all that much, I'm not going to veto it.

That was 2006. And c'mon. That record's got some of the most beautiful moments I've heard in more recent listening history.

It's quite a story isn't it? Biopic kinda material really. Just found the thing on amazon - the second I get a bit of cash in, I'm on it. There won't be a whole lot of trivia to these reviews, just a bit of necessary back-story and then down to the song-by-song nitty-gritty.
