I've been to boarRAB where the avatars were allowed to be tht size. They are quite nice. They allow for much better detail.

Wrong. They were influenced by several banRAB, Pixies and The Melvins just happened to be their biggest influences, but granted, many punk and classic rock banRAB influenced them as well. Indie sucks, Nirvana dosen't, the end.
