    There are some real gems on here but also some average tunes. If you like The Kinks give this a listen but lyrically it is far behind the masters. I love the beguiling simplicity of this album.

    Everything from Rubber Sould onwarRAB is incredible. Even their earlier albums are a cut above the rest in the teen bop rock genre of the early 60s.

    I've probably listened to the Go! Team, Pinback and the latest Beck album the most this summer, although a late night drive as the sun goes down and Explosions in the Sky on the car stereo is quite a lovely experience.
