'Bistriji ili tuplji čovek biva kad...' (1981)
Stunning album from the former Socialist Republic of Yugoslavia (they came from what is now Serbia), but with an artier and more political edge than their post-punk Yugoslav contemporaries, i love these guys, they immediately make you feel guilty...
This Nation's Saving Grace-The Fall
Did nothing whatsoever for me at first
London Calling-The Clash
Seemed an awful load of nonsense on the first 2 listens.
I'm listening to it on YouTube right now. It doesn't really sound like my cup of tea, though after your last post I can't tell if you were joking with that recommendation or not.
as a child it was "killer queen" by, funnily enough, Queen. I used to love 60s pop like the tremeloes, the hollies and that bird who sings the "MY BOOOOOY LOLLIPOP" song - my dad just used to borabard us with these kind of songs.
The Grinderman album last year was fairly decent too. If you like Bettye LaVette you should like Cassandra Wilson. Not as powerful, but a very talented jazz singer, and her new album was gorgeous.
i think: robert plant has a pretty amazing voice
wait i swear somewhere on this forum i made a list of the top five bet voice's ... oh yea in metal.. i remeraber now..
you knew it would happen
sometimes you're kissing;
know she'll spend the night
know she'll bite
you can't do it
you will do it
offer her the night
she'll sleep
badly,
not till 4:30 A.M. when
you're waiting for 10
and you can't get to sleep cause
it's not her
she tickled you and
you got limp...
