    Favorite comebacks/insults in cartoons

Oh yeah, you're right, that's one of my favorite things about regular show: the pointless yet hilarious banter between the characters. Oh, and "IT WAS WORTH IT!"

Shin Chan vs american adult shows

I think Shin Chan's OK. My problem with it is though that it works too hard for a lot of the gags which have clearly been altered from the Japanese intent. That's understandable since in Japanese anime and comedies a lot of the comedy is based on Japanese language word puns, cultural...

    Different species from their parents(s)

Which reminds me of Princess Vi from Samurai Pizza Cat who, too is a bunny, though her pops is a panda. To be fair, her genes come from her mother's side and it gives blatant evidence that interspecies romance is possible in that universe.

    Your Favorite Animation Blogs

While not an entirely animation-related blog, http://www.thadkomorowski.com has a lot of interesting info on theatrical cartoons, comics, and occasional random stuff.

favorite stories from the "Treehouse of Horror" episodes

The Shinning was their greatest film parody in the history of their running. The humor were priceless and a fine clear example of classic Simpsons. Mr. and Mrs. Simpson is also a favorite of mine.

    Top Worst Fathers in animation

Charlotte was, but I don't know about Drew. I'd say his biggest problem, other than his brotherly qurrals with Stu, was that he needed a backbone; SOMEONE needed to smack Angelica some sense in, and SOMEONE needed to take away Charlotte's cellphone and make her spend time with her family.

    T5 Screen Squeal

Hey everyone I know this issue has been mentioned on T|E and Z|72 Palm units, but I've also come across it on my T5. When looking at the screen I hear this high pitched 'squeal.' I thought I'd get used to it, but...haha...nope, not happening. Look at the unit from the side or back and...

Toon Zone Talkback - "Ratatouille," "Peter and the Wolf" Take Oscars

I gotta shake my head at that entire thread. Really sad. Please, lets not drag this thread into American vs Japanese cartoons territory.

    Stoked Airdate Confirmed.

I'll watch it, but I don't think it will be as good as TDI. Hopefully they'll stream it on their website. Teletoon already ordered 52 episodes, so they probably think that it will be a success.

Are kids turning away from animation?

I'd say what worries me a bit more than this is that "adult" cartoon seems to equal crappy Flash and juvenile shock jokes. Now, South Park and some of the Adult Swim shows are fun, but I'm afraid its the only type of animation most people seem to accept. CGI gets unnecessary backlash...

Could Anime and amerime crossover ever happen?

Something like that, but I was referring to taking an esablish american cartoon and an establish Anime, and making a movie togethers using characters from both shows. Like when Disney and Warner Brothers characters worked together in Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

    How change Calendar's Agenda background?

I know it *can* be done, but I'm not sure how. I've searched all over and even found this one post, but it's outdated and the links are dead. I've downloaded Calendar Background Image Tool 1.1, but when I use it, it converts the image into a .bin file and a .bmp file. And the instructions...

    "Coraline" Talkback (Spoilers)

I just saw Coraline again, and again, the craft was amazing! There were a lot of [sick] little kids in the theatre, and all of them seemed very scared. I think kids under 7 shouldn't see it, but otherwise it's good for all other ages. If Coraline doesn't get [or at least get nominated for] the...

    Worst Recasting changes

I agree with you about Velma, except I was okay with Pat Stevens as Velma. It's Marla Frumkin and B.J. Ward who didn't get the voice quite right. I sort of like Grey as Daphne though. Just my opinion.

Why did Family Guy change so much after the revival?

Well people change, and it doesn't take much longer than a year or two for that to happen. Interests and humor can change in that amount of time. Maybe he wanted to differentiate from the Simpsons? ... Or quite simply, Seth MacFarlene became a sell out. I'll be honest, the guy is a talented...
