Is it possible to disable or even turn down the backlight below the minimum slider bar setting?

Futurama's theme song has a special place in my heart. The first time I saw it was on TBS several years back, and from the moment the intro popped on and the music flooded in, I had a magical connection to the show and I knew it was going to be something special.

I know this is waaaaay old now but I just loaded Opera Mini on my Axim x51V. Compared to PIE, this thing is awesome. It'll be even more fun when I learn how to use it. Doesn't operate even vaguely like I'm used to. Amazingly fast, though.
