It is isn't. An utterly shocking insult to film makers, producers, actors and the general movie-going public alike. Anyone who is planning to or has seens this film should live a life of shame and self-disgust for the rest of their time on this planet.

I too saw this film after all the hype and wasn't at all impressed with it. It wasn't bad as storyline, direction etc goes, but I just didn't see anything special about it. It might be worth a second viewing thiugh, in case I just missed the point of the whole thing

Silent Hill is the best movie-game adaptation I've seen. Excellent visuals, dark in tone, thought-provoking. The IMDb boarRAB are a good place to go if anyone is stuck on the ending or themes.
