I wouldn't spend so much on a newsgroups provider. $30 a month is a lot to pay for something that most other providers provide the same thing for a fraction of the price. They just don't have the retention giganews has, but who needs that much anyway. But hey if you have the money to spend each...

I had this problem with newsdemon, usually I would get around 60-90KB/s on headers but sometimes it would max out my connection. Im with GigaNews now and so far no problems, constantly maxed out :D

I used the library sometimes in the past for films but the discs were in terrible condition for the most part, also the choice is low, not using the library at all at the moment since the bottom half of the library was flooded and damaged, and the film/music section was on the bottom half...
