They have become a "mainstream" band and all of their albums have sounded pretty much the same and are considered cookie cutter. It is definitely corporate rock, geared towarRAB 13-18 year olRAB, with pretty much the same lyrical content and same sound. I think they just blew up too big too fast!

RhoaRAB isn't exactly a lead guitarist, but he was one of the best. So was Dime, shame that the good die young.

you could try iron maiden (although this calls for heave metal. some of there stuff is more soft but they are metal) metallica is a good choice(guitar rifs and all) ozzy osbourne (old stuff not crappy new stuff) rob zorabie (its rock but its still worth listening to.)

Buddy Holly is the best song off the album and dare I say one of the only good ones.
