Alien was an amazing film, whilst Aliens was probably the best sequel to any film I've ever seen. After those two, everything else suffers by comparison - although Alien 3 was not the vision the director wanted An Alien reboot is not out of the question It worked for Batman

The Swan-Tuner chapter was pretty much closed at the end of AWE. The Sparrow-Barbossa one can go on. Whether it should is an entirely different matter. Who knows, Blackbeard might do Sparrow in so that will end it all.
