yeah mine does that too, it is busy going back to the menu and keeping the address book open in the background for a sec then it goes to close it. if you want to leave the address book open just hit menu twice and it will get you there quicker and you can leave stuff open in the background...

One more question as well. When you are dialing a number that has letters. for example 1800-america or something like that. On a regular keypad you know which numbers to push in place of letters. But how do you do that with this phone? I've tried hitting the letters, but it doesn't work like that.

My E61 is sturdy and works without a sing problem. Made in Finland aswell.
