I can't find a forum heading for this topic so will try here. Yesterday I bought the "Horse Soldiers" dvd only to find it is in full screen despite it saying letterbox on the pack. The same thing happened with "Romeo is Bleeding" and "Its A Mad Mad Mad Mad World" they are not even pan and scan...

Though you were referring to metaphorical guns it did remind me of some films that still seem as good to me today as a decade/two decades ago, and though people may laugh, it's most of Arnie's action flicks. The Terminator has aged, I admit, but T2 I think could be released at the cinema today...

I have seen neither films- but I have had an interest in watching the first Saw... I know about the language and the violence, is there any comparison between these films and the language or the some of the easy violence as to a Tarentino movie because there are always showing his films on BBC3...

its looks faboulous!!! I thought it would be rubbish and simply cant follow a film as good as 28 days later - but this looks good! glad they have gone down the road it would appear thay have gone down.
