Thanks for the replies. I just got back from the hospital about an hour ago, and as far as they could tell, everything is fine. I still need to get an MRI to rule out torn tendons and such, but the Dr. said it was probably just sprained.

I was just in Target today getting some free reading at the magazine rack and there was an article in one of those American Iron type mags that talked about the same thing on the Harleys. I read that and was a little turned off by Harley's but now reading this maybe all the V twins are like this.
