From 12-18 months Currently I have 3 phones (mine, wife's, and a backup). I'm waiting for the 6500 Slide so I could get it for the wife.

This is the first time I've ever heard of anyone who likes Samsungs vibrate then ring option. It's one of the main reasons I'd never use a Samsung... I want my phone to ring AND vibrate at the same time, not one then the other.

I recommend the Sierra Wireless VOQ A11. I have the device, and my original intention behind it's purchase was similar to yours - to consolidate all devices into one, and I think the VOQ does that well. Pritesh

well, you should also note that the nokia n93 also records in vga and at 30fps, which is awesome seeing as most others are less and at qvga. Also SE does have one OK video phone, that is the w900i, which is discontinued. Just wait for the N95, if you have the cash or n93i
