Have not seen it yet but read, and liked, the book (if I didn't I would never have read it all the way through!) I don't know why it get's knocked so much. Methinks its a conspiracy of clandestine proportions.

If Disney want to limit the run, why shouldn't they? As a regular cinema-goer, I'm getting tired of seeing 2-3 screens (sometimes the biggest/best ones) being occupied by Avatar that I saw 6 weeks ago.

*aside* OK DVD nurse. Put this one on a limited diet, start with Dumb and Dumber. If he's still watching it after 20 minutes, persevere and move him onto something slightly more taxing like Anchorman. If that's too much then.....*weary sigh*...we've done all we can here *strings swell up...

I can cope with 5 minute ad breaks, although they are definitely annoying. But they also give you the chance to quickly nip to the loo or grab some grub from the kitchen;) A full news bulletin is too much for me though.

Love the Saw films, best horror series there has ever been, its not the violence or the gore its the way the films keep you guessing, I couden't even say out of the five which was my favourite, there all brilliant, I hope the sixth saw is not a disappointment, cant wait :)

Those who have mentioned Quarantine have chosen wisely IMO. It's such a strange occurrence as [REC] was such a superb film, you'd have thought that doing an exact copy of it, but with English speakers, it would have worked brilliantly. I just can't understand, but there was something not right...

Watched this late last night with the missus as part of our nod to Halloween. Anyone else here seen it? We were absolutely gobsmacked. It's a beautifully written Spanish language ghost story in the vein of The Others, and I won't say anything to spoil it but it kept us guessing to the end, and...
