Yep Ian McKellen as Gandalf is the only necessity for me. They can even change the director, at least we might then get better characterisation,and the film mght be more Tolkienesque with less of the Big Hollywood Picture feel.

Well i'm in the camp that does think this latest 3D craze is gimmicky as hell. The problem I have with it is it really doesn't translate well to the home viewing market, i'm sure with the cinema type atmosphere 3D can be great but however good it is I'm never going to want to be sat at home...
