Exactly! I was extremely disappointed with the first one. Absolutely terrible film. Who the hell thought it was good enough to warrant a sequel and the fact that guy said it would be 'kick-ass' is a good reason to avoid like the plague as this could be worse than the first.

It is a great film. I remember sitting in the cinema nearly dying from laughing. The scene of him hanging onto the statue penis and (for some reason) 'Hey! It's Enrico Polazzo!' just slayed me. Shame that the law of diminishing returns kicked in almotst immediately for the sequels.

I was thinking that! I agree that the film would have been much better if it hadn't been so graphic. It was a great idea for a story but just ended up being another of the usual run-of-the-mill modern horror films. Could have been a classic - I'll suggest it in the Films that should be remade...
