National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets

I saw this the other week with a friend who was more excited about it than me, and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Probably because I had low expectations in the first place. But yeah, it's a fun, family-adventure type film, it wasn't bad. I love history and the idea of...

    I Am Legend (Spoilers)

What the hell? A sequel to this movie doesn't make sense, at all! It's called I AM LEGEND. It's based and revolves around ONE main character, and it was about his sole struggle to survive in a world where no-one else had. Plus, he died. You can't have I Am Legend 2 with some other random...

My Bloody Valentine 3D - Get your heart broken!

^^ Ditto! That would be awesome :D I'm so glad we have a date too, and it's not even that long after the movie was in cinemas, yay! :slinkie:

Slumdog Millionaire - It is written.

That's one of my favourite songs on the soundtrack  I also love O...Saya, Mausam & Escape, Paper Planes, Ringa Ringa and Aaj Ki Rat. Even the tracks without vocals are fairly good - the whole soundtrack is just awesome! I didn't know Jai Ho had been nominated for Best Original Song...

Run, Fatboy, Run: Another British Comedy

I don't think it was as good as those two. There's just something about Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright's writing (and the latter's direction) that no-one else can touch. But being that it's written by Simon, it was always going to be funny. It's worth a watch, at least!

    Transformers II-Revenge of the Fallen

Yaaas! :woot: I'm glad I saw it before it was removed :look: The clip is so funny, poor Bumblebee!

Hey, LA movie fans! There's going to be a screening of the film in your city! I wish I was in LA :pout:

Sin City - probably SPOILERS (please read first post)

Ah, fracking LOVE Sin City!!! Possibly the best graphic novel to movie adaptation, like you said Nikki, the cinematography was insane. I love the whole film noir feel and comic look of it, and how the individual stories subtly inter-linked with each other. I want more! Dwight/Old Town was cool...

STAR TREK Appreciation #1: In 2009 comes a new vision of the greatest space adventure of all time

Thanks! I felt like after the Kirk stuff, I should show some Spock love too :D I ship Kirk/Spock in the sense that I LOVE their bromance and epic friendship, but I don't slash them. I do ship Spock/Uhura though, I just love their relationship and I think they're awesome together. By the way...

The Dark Knight #3 - #2 all-time within a month? Not too shabby.

Woo-hoo, new thread! :yay: The title is great, too. I love that this movie became so hugely popular so quickly :D

    Will Smith is "Hancock"

I can't wait for this movie! :slinkie: I just love the whole concept of a crap superhero, and I agree that the trailer looks hilarious. I love the whale bit but I cannot stop laughing at the bit in the prison :lmao: Everytime I tell people about it, I crack up all over again!

Random Movie Moments That *gasp* Caught You By Surprise (Spoiler rule applies)

Another one randomly popped into my head. The Bourne Ultimatum - When you find out that Bourne himself volunteered for the whole assassination programme, rather than them sort of shoving it on him against his will. I didn't see that coming at all, and it just made his whole quest to find his...

About SPOILERS, GAMES -Introductions- Please Read, Come Say Hello

Figured I'd pop in here and say hello properly, since I started posting on this board a bit more. Hi! I'm a HEE-YUGE fan of movies, so hopefully I'll be sticking around a bit.

    Watchmen (2009)

Aaw, poor Zack Snyder! *hugs him* Aside from the trailer just looking absolutely epic, he was one of the main reasons I was looking forward to this. I LOVE what he did with 300, I thought the film adaptation was just innovative in the whole "graphic-novel-to-film" genre, and just overall...

    Transformers II-Revenge of the Fallen

It's out here (in the UK) on the 19th, so this Friday, I think :slinkie:

    The Crow

It's really bizarre that you made a topic for this now, because I finally got round to watching this for the first time last night! It's always been one of the "classics" I've been meaning to watch, and I'm glad I finally got a chance. I enjoyed it, I thought it was really gritty and dark, and...

Too Awkward? Too Scary? Too Sexy? Scenes You Can't Watch.

That scene makes me so unbelievably sad!!! It's just horrible :( I nearly always turn away/cover my eyes during scary scenes in horror movies, I'm a total wimp.
