That cartoon based on the Wayside School books. They were almost nothing like the books that I used to read as a kid, but it still gave me enough of a nostalgia feeling to get me to watch.

I missed that particular episode. Could you give a breif description of it? And to keep the thread on topic, I don't seem to find the Simpsons as funny as it used to be. Eventually shows run out of steam and the Simpsons might be the latest in the line.

Apparently they know nothing about The Hub's upcoming Dan Vs? Also, I really dislike how they label Adventure Time as a "hold out" when CN is clearly heading towards the off-beat path with their new comedy originals; they conveniently forgot to mention Regular Show and the upcoming Robotomy.

I hold different standards for most shows. I have some pretty lax expectations for comedies, simply expecting likeable characters and good writing. The jokes need to be fresh, and the situations can't just feel like someone placed different problems on a dartboard and threw an arrow at them...

Because someone on staff obviously finds the Osmonds to be incredibly funny for whatever reason. I personally think the "Osmond family wastes water" cutaway is funny because of the way they're drawn and voiced.

I'm glad to see Matt and friends still haven't lost thier touch on Futurama. (Unlike The Simpsons)

I don't hate this man. Outside of ignoring Gargoyles, most of his observations are spot-on. Honestly, people. None of the shows listed were much good. Terrible? No (in some cases), but I'd be hard pressed to find anyone who actually thinks those were high-quality shows.
