    What Next for Hollywood?

    The future seems to be lots of reboots of franchises and remakes at the moment. As for distribution side - well it is ironic that multiplexes which were supposed to offer more choice are actually limiting it. Essentially they just show the blockbuster films on as many screens as possible.

    Any Other Christopher Walken Fans Out There?

    Loved him in The Deerhunter and have been a big fan ever since. What a fantastic and convincing performance he did in that film especially the Russian Roulette scene. Superb!

    The Time Traveler's Wife *14th August*

    Saw it this evening. Not bad. Didn't think I'd enjoy it at all, judging by the trailer - but it was watchable. I did feel a bit out of place, sat there on my own amiRABt couples and old ladies though... :(

    Most scary film

    Two films stand out for me : Salem's Lot (Original Full Length TV Movie) - Creepy, just so creepy. Dawn Of The Dead (2004 Remake) - Fast zombies, nihilistic in the extreme. I love horror films and seen just about all there are from the B&W Lugosi classics, through Hammer House and 80s video...

    Awful, awful film. Nearly as bad as Notting Hill. Superbad was another terrible movie, managed to sit through 20 minutes of that before I had to turn it off.

    In the science lab in Waterloo Road every desk has what looks like a mobile phone in a holder. Or maybe it is a calculator. no one ever uses these devices. Its bugging me to know what they are and what they would be used for. I cant imagine a school providing free mobile phones for pupils but...

    Yep, I loved it completely except for the ending as well. The ending was fine... just not as good as the rest of the film.
