I think its the best adaption of A Christmas Carol, although I am sure some will disagree.

I thought the soundtrack sounded just like Gladiator in places, and then saw at the end it was good old Hans Zimmer's work :rolleyes: !

Daniel (ex of my beloved Emmanuelle Beart :)) is brilliant. His best movie in my eyes, was 'Le Seperation' with Isabelle Huppert. (Excuse all French spellings) I adored him in that.

Looking forward to seeing this again. Sheen did a good job as Brian Clough.

They were my favorite albums this year. If Outkast or Ghostface or The Hives had albums out this year, they'd probably make the list. I agree my list does look a little skewed, but it's what I think was exceptional this year

I've just looked at the extras disc on the 2 disc DVD, and the 'speeding car' effects are not mentioned at all.

I agree with you on a A Storm in Heaven, I haven't listened to that album in ages but I remember it being supremely chilled out and relaxing. I've found Pink moon by Nick drake to be quite relaxing before bed as well.

I don't know if it's quite the same on the DVD but the scene in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade where they are being attacked by the german plane was extremely impressive at the cinema. You could hear the plane flying around the back of the cinema.
