That thread doesn't exactly prove most of what people are worried about. It looks more like many stores are generally cutting back for the next couple of months, rather than some "NO BANDAI!" policy that seems obviously contradicted by some of the anecdotal evidence over there.

Well I sure hope it's the actual first season. But wide screen? I really hope that isn't true. This is the first time it would be available uncut in the US don't botch the release by making it faux-widescreen. Unlike DBZ this dub was always satisfactory. I suppose either way I'd buy it.
