I've never heard it being mentioned that Tintin was the inspiration for the likes of Superman,Batman or for any Marvel or DC Superhero.

I would prefer them to adapt the book as I found it amazing (unlike most of here :confused: ) as it would be more serious/dark and would make a very good "adult" type Wizard of Oz....nevertheless I loved the musical too so either way I'm pleased at the news. Has there been any announces for it...

I am guessing that you had no intention of seeing this but simply fell for the hype? Because I think this film was for Batman fans that enjoyed Batman Begins and were looking forward to the sequel.
