If the fans knew the depths of how much Mike McFarland does for One Piece, he should have easily won as Best Director of One Piece. But alas, since it's pretty much a popularity contest ... Death Note is more well known then One Piece, and thus Death Note won that category.

I like pretty much every genre if its done well. Even sports, something I'm not into, has been done well in anime. The only things I refuse to watch are hentai, yaoi, yuri, shota, and loli for quite obvious reasons.
