I like this film too. I find it's one of the few films I can watch repeatedly, so would like to get it on DVD.

it sounds like pressure urticaria to me. Some people have this and its when ever pressure is against the body it swells and itches.

I HATED that film, and I'd rather poke pins in my eyes than pay to watch it on stage...
