Charlie, I also replaced the stock clutch cover with a very nice open Rizoma clutch cover on my 1098 a couple of months ago, but within 100km and after riding in wet conditions you see rust appearing on the stock springs. So inevitably you will have to get at least new stainless steel springs...

it just comes down to if you like the voices of dub or the sub... you know people have different tastes in music and mayeb the person just can't stand listening to japanese voicse or english voices that just sound "flat" or "overacted". I absolutely hated xellos/zelgadiss's voice in engilsh...

Amen to that!!!I have almost 10,000mi on my 848, and was the first person to get a 7,500mi service on their 848. WTF?! I must be the only person who actually RIDES their 848... But I'm sure glad to hear that there are others who actually ride!! :-)

Just waiting. Break in on the motor came up the other day when I was getting my bike tuned. How would you do it? I have a guy that will run it in on a dyno but dont know about his methods. How would you run it in?
