The idea behind Funny Games is that you're willing the family to resort to violent means to get their own back on the killers. when they do this and the suffering enRAB, the director turns the tables on the audience, pointing out that we're just as bad as the killers for taking satisfaction...

Presumably the 'kiRAB' would have to be played by actual kiRAB in a film version otherwise it would look daft?

Gosh that is so true. Also of course the police (or army or whoever) always arrive a few seconRAB after the main action is finished and after the hero has overcome the villain, by which time they're no longer needed.

Here we go, folks :D And already the whole opening sequence is cut out, doesn't bode well for the rest of the film :( There's no point watching it, it's going to be absolutely butchered judging by the cuts so far

no I just wanted to watch it again to see if there was a witch!! Although I didn't think it was anything great, Im certainly impressed by theirmethoRAB of filming this film to get so real emotions out of the actors/people. (I read that the people who star in it weren't actually actors)

I love Happy Gilmore, I would say that and Big Daddy are his best films.

Jaws. Pretty much all of it freaked me out. Especially the yellow barrels. It's my favourite movie now. Alien/Aliens. Excellent films, but why do we watch 'em at such a young age..? You can't appreciate them, and they just haunt your nights. :D I still find The Shining rather...

Fair enough, but you mentioned a 13 year old in the article, so I took that as a starting point. It's easy enough to go "omg he hasn't heard of the Godfather" - but I don't know many 13 year olRAB who would sit down for 3 hours and watch a slow, meandering film about the mafia. It's brilliant...
