    Your favourite album of 2009

Because we all care. I can't stand albums being hyped and there's been a fair few like that (Grizzly Bear and Mastodon spring to mind) that i haven't warmed to but that said MPP is a brilliant album. The people listening to and emulating it don't make the slightest difference.

Should musicians be on more than 30k a year

Janszoon is from Saudi Arabia. If he was a liberal he would have been stoned to death by now. Way to put his life in danger by advertising the fact.

    50 Greatest Bands

I think the Grateful Dead were the Timothy Leary of music, more than the Beatles or Jimi Hendrix. When I think Grateful Dead, I think Bill Walton, reminiscing about the times of old, when it was cool to be free, and let the music take you where you wanted to go. The Grateful Dead's sound really...

    Meet the Fockers branching DVD?

Yeah, I doubt there's an easter egg as well. It looks like a case of misleading advertising. Here's a link to one of the sites that originally reported on it: http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/content.php?contentid=56898 I can't find any mention anywhere on the net about why it wasn't included when...

Maddie Blaustein, 4Kids VA for Meowth, dies at 48

Aww geez...what a shame. One of the more interesting of the New York voice actors. I'd always hoped to meet him/her at a convention some day. Guess that won't be happening now. Geez, so young.

anybody seen any HD-DVD bootlegs yet?

IIRC CSS was cracked in 1999. Although I had been buying dvd's since early 1998,the format had not really been properly launched in the UK until well into 1999,(it was launched then relaunched) and it started to take off with the release of The Matrix
