I saw Toy Story 3 in a fairly new Vue and the dialogue was noticeably distorted. I assumed it was a side-effect of digital projection but in general I would say that nowadays the picture is superb in cinemas but the sound is often mediocre.

I would say the only thing that has any merit would have to be TV shows. Sometimes when I'm caught up on the latest show such as Lost, Supernatural, ect. I am often madly refreshing the page after the show airs. It may be meager, but waiting the 10 minutes to get it on TL can be a real killer...

If you've got Sky+ you're probably entitled to subscribe to Sky By Broadband, where you can download movies shown on Sky to your PC for free. They might have Kill Bill Vol.1 on there.
