I'm not saying that your idea is bad, but I just don't see anything like that happening. I don't see public donations from viewers like you paying to keep an ad free cartoon channel afloat. Such a channel would be hard to keep running without money. And what could PBS have to offer to viewers...
That wasn't a 3rd wheel scenario. Both Chip and Dale were hot for gadget and fought each other for her attention, but Gadget showed no interest in either of them other than friendship, so there was no 3rd wheel in that case.
You do know that John K. knew Bob Clampett very well back when Bob was still alive and John was starting his career?
And I'm starting to wonder whether John really disliked Ed, Edd n Eddy or not.
The show has become the Brian and Stewie Show for the most part. Peter has his moments, but those two are the ones that usually get the best lines or plots. I think the appeal is from youngsters to those that grew up in the 80's or 70's. They basically skewer a lot of those things we grew up...
I'd like to think so. I mean, the DC shows helped bring in more comic readers as did X-Men: TAS, Spider-Man: TAS. But the DC shows showcased the diverse characters the DCU had to offer on a weekly basis and had more exposure than the Marvel shows. That's why there are still kids that know and...
is there anyways i can run mp3's and gps at the same time on a palm tx? i have never used gps on a palm before but if i do then do i have to insert a sd with all maps on it or can they be saved ( say 4 states ) on the existing memory of the palm?
I'd make changes to CN:
-acquire foreign cartoons (especially an english dub of Wakfu)
-not allow green lighting of any new live-action projects, but allow those being developed to finish their run
-make a huge announcement calling all those who wish to pitch a cartoon series idea to come to CN...
FWIW, I recognized the Raven entry as a joke. Yay, me! :D And I thought it was funny. Your entry about Timmy Turner as a lousy son and godson is spot on too. I do agree with others here that Stewie Griffin needed to be on the list somewhere. But all in all I enjoyed your article. Funny stuff.
As far as I know, Al typically obtains permission for everything, so it's not an issue. The "Amish Paradise" incident was the result of miscommunication, but legal permission had still been obtained. In his case, I think it's a matter of professionalism (as in, not needlessly pissing people off)...
I like your analysis, but I have to say I personally can't reconcile the earlier seasons with later stuff like the Superstar 10 movies. The skepticism the gang shows about ghosts early on just wouldn't make sense in a world where, for instance, Dracula broadcasts a race between all the real...
So then we could see perhaps a low budget AS version of the comic book? Since the original writer is dead, it would have to be true to the comics. Or is it too hardcore for AS?
I agree that to call a gag which wastes a bunch of time 'trivial' isn't right. Your complaints on those of us who dislike current FG come across as if you just want us to back off regardless.
Personally, I think the show has shown the good and bad of continuity. It can be fun when one episode...
Judging from promos, pictures, and the first episode, I thought that American Dragon Jake Long was gonna be horrible. But after watching the second season, I have to say that it was a pleasant surprise.
So far it's hilarious. I love the newspaper gag about Al Gore praising Carlos Mencia for recycling jokes, and the virtual trip was a twist I wasn't expecting. Roger as an actor who can't cry is great, too.
