most musicians are probably either atheistic or agnostic, because people who are truly into organized religion will lyrically be influenced by their religion, but if that person isn't than they're probably just not that religious, most people i know who call themselves Christians are more in it...
I feel like what you're saying is true, mr. dave, but I still think he's a legitimate nice guy who really enjoys releasing his emotions through music and to me doing it the way he does it means a lot.
But anyway, i'd love to get some more Johnny Hobo +81.
British electronic music: the usual suspects - too clever for its own good, too studenty and trying too hard to be cool.
"Harvest Festival" on the contrary, are so simple and unpretentious, made by someone who cares about music. The atmosphere in this record is an integrator - made without any...
I don't know what to be more offended by: your list which includes Miley Cyrus, Journey, etc or the fact that there are some genuinely great albums lumped in there.
Be that as it may, this is probably the WORST list ever, even from an objective standpoint.
Another song that I find really depressing is Puff the Magic Dragon.
I know most people think it's about drugs, but to me, the song is about a bitter viewpoint of change and growing up and a dragon losing his best friend, and it would make me cry when I was a kid.
Hello gentleman and ladies
I want to know what everyone thinks is the sound coming through at the moment is. Like the 80's was new romantic, 60's rock 'n' roll, end of 80's dance.
What is the sound/movement that is going to hit us in 2010-20??? What underground movement is going down around...
I'm seriously lovin the new Small Black EP. I definitely think that they are going places. I woke up this morning and they were being featured on Pitchfork so it's only a matter of time now until the blow up!
what a great mix :)...i could not complain about any of it
Can - Bring Me Coffee Or Tea (Tago Mago)
Screeching Weasel - Nicaragua (BoogadaBoogadaBoogada)
Nobukazu Takemura - Time And Space (Child's View)
The Cutthroats 9 - Can't Do A Thing (The Cutthroats 9)
Shorty - Red Bull (Thurab Days)...
Every kind...from classical, opera, and showtunes to country, soft rock, and pop to hard rock, world music, and hip-hop. I like songs from almost every genre I can think of. Just depenRAB on what's good, not the whole genre.
Rockstar and She Wants to Move are basically the only ones that were. Their latest album, Seeing SounRAB, is one of the best I've heard. But no where are they in the media.
