    how to make battery life on blackberry curve 8539 last long?

    I just got my blackberry from verizon and i feel like the battery wont have a long life. What can i do to make it last long. I used it for one day and it has only 3 out of the 4 bars left after one day. I did download apps too. Dont know if that affects the battery too. i meant 8530!!!
