    why oh why oh why aren't these films available to buy on DVD???

    to answer the bloke above - I can't buy anything on Region one because my DVD player can't play them!!! I did actually think of that myself - I'm fairly bright actually... I'd also like Shag on DVD - nobody else seemed to like it but I did. Great soundtrack too.

    what good films are in the cinema atm?

    Went to see In The Loop last night, after never seeing a full episode of The Thick of It. What a choice!!! One of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time.

    What is the most INFLUENTIAL film of the past 15 years?

    I think Shawshank Redemption to some extent has been widely influencial. Particularly on the Green Mile. The same can be said of films like Seven and more recently the Sixth Sense. Totally agree about Tarrantino his films have been original and added a different approach to film making.

    Lightheaded and lower back ache

    I went to the doctor this morning, and she said that it was most likely inner ear infection---and it's viral, so there's nothing she can do except let it run its course. She did prescribe meclazine (sp?) for the dizziness and vertigo until it clears up, which she said can take 2 weeks to 2...

    Terminator: Salvation - surprised!

    the Terminator went wrong went they used a different actor playing John Connor in T3. I know the T2 Connor had some issues at the time,but continuity is important. Now we have Christian Bale,thats three different actors playing Connor in just 4 films... And no Arnie this time.....Grrrrr
