If they've only DOGged one repeat, it might be a mistake. It's the wonders of automation- you can think you've programmed it right, but it still goes wrong. I remember the DOG popping up a couple of times on The Vault's repeats last year, almost certainly unintentionally.

I wouldn't be suprised to find he has access to VHS viewing copies which are regularly run off from the masters in archives. It wouldn't be a massive effort to make a copy from them. I don't know what archive it is, but I wouldn't be suprised to find it's the BFI, as they have massive archives...

Either term is fine. :dabs: I have two deaf employees at work and people always look at me when I say they're "deaf". They say "hearing impaired" is better. That's just silly. Same with "died" or "passed" IMO.
