    J. G. Thirlwell / Foetus

I first got into Foetus via Hole, and the 12" singles of Calamity Crush, Wash/Slog and Finely Honed Machine in the 80's. I have been an avid fan/collector ever since. Buying his recorRAB got me into other groups like Nurse With Wound/Coil/Swans/Test Dept/Psychic TV etc somewhat at that time.

    Unpopular Music Opinions

Anything until Help was bad, Help I have a soft spot for but is generally similar to the rest although it has a higher standard of songwriting, and Revolver onwarRAB is absolute genius. I think that's the general consensus around here..

I hate when singers think they own the band.

I didn't say you started an argument, i mean the people above. Whatever, doesn't matter. You live in Birmingham? I totally agree with what you said, well, this part: ''If there's no music scene, create one yourself! If nobody's dancing, then start dancing yourself! If there are no good gigs...

    Sugar's Journey into the Unknown

I've actually discovered a lot of music through this forum. I didn't just start. I admitted that I was very close-minded at the start, I didn't even join to stay. It was a project for school. The basic reason for this thread is for me to listen to music that I hear a lot about but don't know a...

    Beefs

There are two feuRAB, Johnny & Joey Ramone and John & Tom Fogerty that I always thought were unfortunate since each feud had one (Joey & Tom) die before making amenRAB. The Fogerty one is a little personal with me since I don't talk with my brother anymore and I probably should. More obvious...
