It's sort of like a private club; you can't usually make it in that environment unless you're liberal because all the higher-ups are liberal. I've heard Lars Larson describe it that way. He worked as a news anchor in my state and eventually left it for talk radio.
Biosphere 2. It didn't so much as fail as it lost funding. It did fail, however, in the sense that they had to sneak in a little oxygen from the outside every now and then.
That's anthropogeneous, and it's politically-driven bad science. Evolution however has merit as a theory, but AGW doesn't even have any direct evidence, making it a hypothesis only.
I killed a bee with my bare hands once. Actually it died by stinging my bare hand, but that should still count. I'm not even able to spend other people's money, however. Not fair.
Yes, sorry. Hillary can crush coconuts with her ankles.
Yes but libs don't listen to credible news sources. All the far left ones say he was a far-right conservative flag-waving Reagan-loving apple pie-eating Rush Limbaugh listening pro-tax-cut Neocon. The facts are he was a socialist who hated Christians and conservatives, this is just another of...
I've never heard anyone say Bin Laden is in Iraq. That would be pretty stupid of him, wouldn't it? If he's not dead he's probably in Pakistan or Afghanistan.
10 X 50 or 7 X 50. The second number is what counts, since it's light-gathering and not magnification you want in binoculars. If you can get 70 or 80 mm that's even better. Mine is 16 X 80, I use a monopod and a fold-up chair, it's perfect.
Most people believe it for purely political reasons. They will deny it and tell you it's science, but in real science skepticism is a good thing. You won't find them so fanatical about the Big Bang theory or General Relativity because that's real science.
