Walter Murphy and Ron Jones have done a wonderful job on the show. The music (both score and songs) on FG have been the best in animation for the past decade.

From the article, it sounds like they have multiple plans for him including a CGI/live action type Garfield movie. I could do without one of those since I didn't really care for the Garfield movies and thought Alvin was just so-so.

I didn't think the episode was that great and wasn't very funny. Without cutaways, it just doesn't feel like "Family Guy".
