Saw the trailer today, it looks a bit naff. Johnny Depp rolls out his Jack Sparrow accent once again:rolleyes: and there was a lot of sniggering in the cinema when he started singing. But perhaps it's meant to be over the top. Not high on my list of 2008 must see films.

I would have said by the early 70s it was Pacino, then mid to late seventies and throughout the 80s it was a flip up as they were both at the top of their game. Possibly the same with early 90s though i'd probably side with De Niro, though Pacino did have some decent performaces in that time...
