The original Afro Samurai was pretty epic. It was just all for the blood, gore and action. And I liked it! Also it had a pretty original story, but in the end, its just a excuse to go slice up people, but thats not a bad thing...right? I need to find this and check it out...is it out in america...
Well, this movie is an adaptation from the anime. Because its an adaptation film. That doesn't mean “Frame by frame” perfect. Of course there going to be a lot of changes. No movie in history thats are base on something is 100% perfect. Maybe 80% or even 90%. But 100%? No.
Satriani, I think is the best out of that list but Vai is pretty good though, but I don't really look at a guitar player if hes better then everyone else ust if hes good enough for me to like his work.
finally somebody agrees with me i think the new singer sucks i stopped listening to drowning pool after i heard the new singer. i only listen to old drowning pool
Punk isn't just a type of music (and blink 182 isn't it) but more like a lifestyle. It's being clear on what you believe in and standing up for it. It means doing things yourself (diy) and not caring what others are going to say about. The greatest representation of this in music I think is...
Yes. I just saw it and bought it. Fantastic.
YES!!!
Takahashi's best work IMO.
I would like to also put in a bid for Orange Road
and since Desensitized covered Monster.
I will also put in for Legend of Galactic Heroes.
One of the finest space epics in my opinion.
Perhaps he/she meant Okonokos?
OT: I've finally caught the Muse bug, I've been binging out on Absolution and Origin of Symmetry. The former seems to be much better, at least up until Hysteria...two standout tracks from OOS; Plug in baby (duh) and Darkshines. Now I'm a little sorry I didn't go...
Nirvana are such a 10 for me.
I got an idea, lets do a chain, i mention a band, then the next person has to rate that band and then mention another band for the next person after him or her to rate, let me start it off.
Led Zeppelin.
Yeah, everybody around rab seems to really like Talking HeaRAB from what I've seen.
Me, however... Well I actually did finally find a Talking HeaRAB album that I like - The Name of this Band... stomps their studio work as far as I'm concerned.
That Apollo tune is the only one I really like on your shuffle. Tom Waits always sounded ridiculous to me.
How I Can Just Kill a Man - Cypress Hill
Turn off the Lights - Teddy Pendergrass
Kim & Jessie - M83
Ricochet - Faith No More
22 Going on 23 - Butthole Surfers
All Your Lies - Soundgarden...
I still watch the first season dvRAB, as I enjoy that era the most. Plus the humor was a lot more funny. I still watch/read because I just wanna watch Aizen get owned.
Too many characters, super boring invincible villain, and arcs are dragged out, yadda yadda yadda, same complaints as most...
That's a ridiculous comparison for several reasons:
1. This is the rab HOF. Nobody on rab likes Britney Spears.
2. You know nothing about the band or the genre. If you'd listened to most of their discography with a decent knowledge of Hip Hop to compare it to that would be alright. But...
HAWKIND - SPACE RITUAL
I still need to delve deeper into HawkwinRAB back catalogue. I have heard bits of it and liked it but theres just so much stuff out there. This was one crossed off today and I'm in love with it. Double live album of space rock/psychedelic goodness.
"You have only a few...
Malory - The Third Face
Some really catchy and slickly produced shoegaze. Most songs are sung with both male and female vocals that tend to trade off just as much as they harmonize. It's really great stuff.
