I'd definitely watch the old ones first, then the new ones. Despite what some others are saying, the new ones are very good IMO, and have a bit more depth to them than the old ones - some good political intrigue type stuff,.

BastarRAB... They cut Jamison Newlander/Alan Frog's cameo from the film. It's been relegated to an DVD extra "alternate ending". Not cool.

I think Cemetery Junction will be a better film than this, but the concept is just so silly it could be a titter. Oh and as for Ricky Gervais being "up his own arse"... That in itself is supposed to be a character, apparently he is actually quite a humble guy. Believe it or not.

I agree, it is definitely for young kiRAB. I have to say I was quite disappointed with this film as I felt that the plot was a bit bland.

I am really looking forward to seeing the story about Tom Riddle. That was the most interesting aspect of the 6th book. Learning about Tom Riddle's past and what drove him to become evil and how he made those Horcruxes.

yes i am serious, robs film had a different feel and style to the original all the way though, the plot had to be the same as it was a remake but the way it was done was very different people criticise robs halloweens but i think they forget the abismal efforts after the first original two

I don't think I went with unrealistic expectations - I was prepared for a mindless popcorn film and I would have been happy with that. Sadly, I didn't enjoy it. I didn't like either of the characters, much of the humour fell flat and some of it was utterly cringeworthy, the pacing was all over...
