When i bought this phone, it had the asian firmware on it and I could hook the phone up to my laptop through the data cable. After the firmware update to another region, win xp will not recognize it as a valid device. How would i go about fixing it? Thanks.

Meh. Everything I have read from people who have reviewed the PS3 have said its graphics are only slightly better than the 360. I wouldn't spend $200 more for "slightly" better. Oh, and a lot of the games coming out with the PS3 have been reviewed as having choppy gameplay. Doesn't sound far...
